Dust is a small group of guys from a rocky outcrop in the north Atlantic sometimes refered to as the land of fire and ice, aka. Iceland.

Born in the capital Reykjavik, the band sports some impressive names from their homeground, including Dave Dunn from the original incarnation of d.u.s.t, which toured America including a showcase at the SXSW festival i Austin, Texas, and having their self-titled debut mixed by Dale Penner (Nickelback producer) for stateside release (the rest of the original line-up went on to form Canora). To aVo (Arnar) whome took second place in channel 2 Iceland‘s answer to Rockstar Supernova entitled Bubba's Band. Other members include August Thor from Dave‘s previous band Envy of Nona who‘s debut cd Two Years Birth was picked up by Tom Kat Records prior to the re-forming of Dust and guitarist Big E (Biggi) whome also was a part of the Bubba's Band tv series.

The band fuses metal style riffs with grungy overtones and catchy melodic choruses, for those rockers whome miss well written songs and real rock music check out the soon to be released album Radio Killer (title reflecting the band‘s dismay for the artsy music on the radio passing as rock 'n roll), due February 2009.
